MANI “on Tour”
A tribute to the rock and roll lifestyle in New York City.
MANI On Tour is a traveling photo exhibit. it’s my project to bring around the world my collection of photos showing the underground music scene of New York City, looking to connect with people and their way to “rock and roll”.
Although I am open to any solutions, the ideal format for the exhibit is to have a concert, at opening night, in the space where the photographs will be shown for few weeks, after that.
The following group of images represents the most current selection of my work.
The photographs are shot on both digital and film, and printed digitally in the following sizes: 50x70cm (20x28in) and 35x50cm (14x20in).
In addition to the photographs, the exhibit will also present the printed “papers”: Tabloid Portfolio Series. A series of portfolios printed on newsprint, illustrating the night-life of bars and venues where the music is played every night in New York City, today.
The papers will be available for the viewers to take, for free.
